Advanced Surgical Education. Technology. Hands-on Experience.

Through our collaboration with Collegium Orthopaedicum in Otwock, Medisfera provides access to a state-of-the-art scientific and educational centre designed for advanced surgical education, hands-on training and cadaveric courses. Located within the Prof. Adam Gruca Orthopaedic and Trauma Teaching Hospital, Collegium Orthopaedicum was officially opened in October 2025 as a modern centre dedicated to the education of future generations of orthopaedic surgeons and other surgical specialists.

With a total area of more than 5,000 m² and facilities designed to accommodate approximately 400 participants, the centre combines modern educational infrastructure with highly specialized environments for practical surgical training. Its facilities allow participants to study medical procedures and practise surgical techniques on anatomical specimens under conditions designed to closely resemble those of a real operating theatre.

A key element of Collegium Orthopaedicum is its focus on hands-on surgical education. The centre was created to support training in traditional, robotic and microsurgical techniques, enabling physicians to develop their skills through direct practical experience. The combination of cadaveric training, advanced surgical simulation, modern technology and theoretical education creates an exceptional environment for comprehensive medical training. Collegium Orthopaedicum enables educational programmes to go beyond traditional lectures, allowing participants to translate anatomical knowledge and surgical theory into practical skills.

The centre is part of the clinical and academic environment of the Prof. Adam Gruca Orthopaedic and Trauma Teaching Hospital and the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education (CMKP). Today, Collegium Orthopaedicum is actively used for postgraduate specialist education, including practical orthopaedic and traumatology courses.

Through our collaboration with Collegium Orthopaedicum, Medisfera brings together outstanding international faculty, advanced infrastructure, modern surgical technologies and realistic hands-on training to create educational programmes at the highest professional level.

Our goal is to provide an environment where surgeons can not only learn about advanced procedures, but also understand them, practise them and refine their surgical skills under the guidance of experienced experts.
